As our System Administrator You will play an important part in building all-in-one environment for businesses looking to make their accounting processes smarter. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- managing network servers and technology tools, installing and configuring software and hardware
- monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to requirements
- troubleshooting issues and outages
- ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- upgrading systems with new releases and models
- managing an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
- logging the queries of customers and employees regarding database queries and system problems (L3 support)
- creating and/or modifying automation scripts and queries
- cleaning up database and extracting reports
- helping with development and testing when needed
- occasional Service Desk tasks like setting up accounts and workstations, inventory of IT
- assetsonfiguring software and hardware
You would be a great match if You:
- are fluent in English (written and oral), speaking Estonian is a bonus
- located in Tallinn
- have an education in IT or proven work experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role (3+ years, mid level)
- are resourceful, have a problem-solving attitude, good communication skills
- are independent, punctual, and consistent
- have experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management
- have knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- have the ability to create scripts in Bash, Perl, SQL or other languages
- are familiar with various operating systems and platforms
- have Docker swarm stack experience
- have Kubernetes deployment writing skills
- have experience managing Linux: NAT, extend filesystem size, Iptables
- know AWS: EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, RDS
- have experience with complex systems and/or legacy projects
