The Smartwork Association recognized Finbite with the remote worker label, which reassures our current and future team members that we support flexible working methods. The digital remote worker label is given to flexible employers who favor hybrid and remote working opportunities and set an example for others. Today, 195 organizations in Estonia have been recognized with the label.
Egle Pärnaku, Head of People at Finbite, said that the label is a great recognition for the company, because remote working has been a part of Finbite’s culture for many years – since it was still part of Omniva. “Today, our head office is located in Tallinn, but the team is spread across the Baltics – our people work remotely in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia from Pärnu, Paide, Türi, Tartu and Harju County. Half of the people work entirely remotely and others use the possibilities of the hybrid work according to their personal preferences,” explained Pärnaku, who said that enabling remote working has become a hygiene factor for companies and is strictly recommended for staying competitive in the labor market.
”Remote working possibilities allow people at Finbite to make the most of their day working from home or even from the beach in summer. In addition, we have cozy offices in Tallinn and Paide, to offer change and provide an opportunity for direct communication, which increases the feeling of unity,” Pärnaku described, how flexible working conditions look like on a daily basis.
